The line-interactive UPS uses a totally different design than any type of offline UPS. In this type of unit, the separate battery charger, inverter and source selection switch have all been replaced by a combination inverter/converter, which both charges the battery and converts its energy to AC for the output as required. AC line power is still the primary power source, and the battery is the secondary.

PL8150-HF 1KVA~3KVA online UPS is an on-line double-conversion UPS with input power factor correction (PFC), output power factor 0.8 offering high levels of reliability and protection for critical servers and data processing IT systems. Besides sufficient runtime as backup power, PL8150 UPS (long time model) can be fitted with matching battery extension packs for long runtime applications; besides some standard features of normal UPS, it is also able to bear wide input voltage in harsh environment, and optional N+X redundancy parallel function is also available.
